Terms of Service
This page is maintained by RSVPath to answer common questions about RSVPath. Last updated: July 2026.
1. Who you are contracting with
RSVPath is owned and operated by RSVPath, trading as RSVPath ("we", "us", "our"). By using RSVPath you enter into an agreement with RSVPath. You can reach us at hello@rsvpath.com.
2. Acceptance of terms
By accessing, registering for, or continuing to use RSVPath, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, you must stop using the service. If you use RSVPath on behalf of an organization, you confirm you have authority to bind that organization; if you use it as an individual, you confirm you are of legal age.
3. The service
RSVPath is an event management platform for event planners. It supports in-person, virtual and hybrid events and covers event creation, digital invitations, guest management, RSVP and +1 management, guest communications, event-owner and staff collaboration with role-based permissions, calendar links and .ics files generated from your event details, QR-code check-in and attendance reporting. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the service within the plan you have selected.
Calendar functionality is one-way: we generate a calendar event from the information you provide, which a guest may add to their own calendar. We do not connect to, modify or synchronize anyone's personal calendar.
You are responsible for the event information you provide — including venue details and any virtual meeting platform and joining details — for who you grant access to, and for ensuring you have the appropriate rights and consent to add guests and contact them through the service.
4. Acceptable use
You must not misuse the service. In particular, you must not:
- use RSVPath for any unlawful purpose or in breach of applicable law;
- send fraudulent, deceptive, or unsolicited bulk messages (spam) to guests;
- infringe the intellectual property or privacy rights of any person;
- interfere with the security or integrity of the service, including uploading malware, probing or scanning systems, bypassing technical limits, or scraping data;
- reverse engineer, resell, or redistribute the service.
You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, for keeping your account credentials confidential, and for all activity under your account.
5. Your content
You retain ownership of the guest lists, event details, and other content you upload. You grant us a limited licence to host and process that content solely to provide the service to you. You confirm you have the rights and lawful basis to upload the guest data you enter into RSVPath.
6. Intellectual property
RSVPath retains all right, title, and interest in and to RSVPath, including the software, invitation templates, designs, documentation, branding, and all related intellectual property. No rights are granted to you other than the limited licence set out in these terms.
7. Payments and subscriptions
Paid plans are sold as subscriptions billed monthly or yearly in advance, and renew automatically until cancelled. Prices are shown on our pricing page and may be exclusive of applicable taxes, which are calculated at checkout. You may cancel at any time from your billing settings; access continues until the end of the paid period.
Payment, billing, tax, cancellation, and refund mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Our own refund policy also applies.
8. Merchant of Record
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns.
9. Service availability
We work to keep RSVPath available and reliable, but we do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free. Maintenance, third-party outages, and factors beyond our reasonable control may affect availability.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to RSVPath, in whole or in part, where: you materially breach these terms; payment for your plan fails or remains outstanding; your use presents a security, fraud, or legal risk; or you repeatedly or seriously violate our acceptable use rules. Where reasonable and lawful, we will give notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue first. You may terminate at any time by cancelling your subscription and closing your account.
On termination, your right to use the service ends. We will make your event and guest data available for export for 30 days after termination, after which it may be deleted or anonymised.
11. Warranties and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the service is provided "as is" and we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, or goodwill. Our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim. Nothing excludes liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
12. Indemnity
You will indemnify RSVPath against claims, losses, and costs arising from your content, your unlawful use of the service, or your breach of these terms.
13. General
These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario, Canada, and the courts of that jurisdiction have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes. You may not assign these terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets. Neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond its reasonable control. We may update these terms and will post the revised version on this page.
